Fundraising is a crucial part of GW Equestrian team because we receive very limited funding from the University. Fundraising funds earned help pay for annual team membership to IHSA, transportation to shows, team apparel, and compensation to riders for transportation and individual entry fees. It is not always guaranteed that riders will be compensated for individual entry fees at shows or transportation to the barn, but the more money raised, the more each rider will be able to get back.
